Our Story – Alma Dorada Boutique

Alma Dorada Boutique has always been much more than just a store to me. It was a dream built from love, inspired by my daughter Alma, and created with my whole heart. I named the boutique after her — Alma Dorada, meaning golden soul — because that is exactly who she is. Ever since she was little, she has brought warmth, light, and joy into my life and into the lives of everyone around her. From the very beginning, she has been my biggest inspiration, and in many ways, this boutique was created as a reflection of her spirit: beautiful, gentle, bright, and full of heart.

What started as a small dream slowly became something so meaningful. Alma Dorada Boutique was never only about clothing or beautiful pieces. It was about creating something special. It was about making women feel elegant, confident, and seen. Every collection, every item, every detail was chosen with care and love. I wanted this boutique to feel personal — like a place filled with warmth, femininity, and soul. Over time, it became exactly that. It became a little world of its own, and I was so grateful to share it with so many wonderful customers.

This boutique also became part of our family’s story. It carried our name, our love, and our hopes. It represented long evenings, careful planning, and so much dedication behind the scenes. Every order placed meant more than just a sale to me. It meant support for a small dream, support for a mother building something meaningful, and support for a story rooted in love for her daughter. That is something I will always carry with me.

But life can change in ways we do not expect.

Recently, my daughter Alma has been facing health challenges, and everything in my world shifted. As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than being there for her fully, with all of my love, attention, and strength. Right now, she needs me more than ever, and that is where my heart must be. In moments like these, life becomes very clear. Family comes first. Always.

Because of this, I have had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life: to close Alma Dorada Boutique.

This decision has not come easily. It carries a great deal of sadness, because this boutique has meant so much to me. It was never just a business. It was a dream, a passion, and a piece of our hearts. Letting go of it is incredibly painful. But at the same time, I know that my place right now is by Alma’s side, giving her the care, love, and support she needs as we focus on her recovery.
